Come-See-Me, Teddy Bear Tea Party

Another “Come-See-Me” event that is fun for the little ones is the Teddy Bear Tea Party. I had taken Popstar and Flash when they were younger and thought I would take Hulk and Princess this year. I also ended up taking my niece along with us as well. The kids took their Teddy Bears to have a check up and also met up with the “Come-See-Me” mascot, Glen the Frog again along with a lot of other fun things to see and do. It was a little hot, but we all had a great time!

Come-See-Me, Truck Show

Yet another “Come-See-Me” event that we enjoy is the annual Truck Show. It is always so much fun, especially for little boys to get to see up close all the cool trucks and some of them they are even allowed to climb inside and blow the horn! It was an exciting time for the kids. Princess was looking for the school bus and Hulk just wanted to see everything! Not only is it fun, but it is very educational for the kids! Free school field trip..yay!

Come-See-Me, Chalk on Main Street

Last Friday evening, Jason and I took our two youngest, Princess and Hulk to a Come-See-Me event. Come-See-Me is an annual Spring festival in Rock Hill. It goes on for almost 2 weeks and there are tons of events and activities going on all over town. It’s a really fun time for everyone. The chalk on Main Street was very cool.

We went with my sister and her kids, so as always it was an exciting time. Glencairn Gardens is such a stunning and lovely place to spend time, we go there quite often.

Strawberry Season is here!!!

Strawberry season in the south is an awesome time of year! You know summer is just around the corner when the strawberries come in. We had to go pick some, of course! It was so much fun! We went with my sister and all of the cousins to a farm out in the country called Cotton Hills Farm. It was a bit of a drive, about 30 minutes but worth the effort. We picked a total of 10 gallons. With 9 kids picking, it didn’t take very long! Then after we got home, we made some delicious strawberry jelly!
