I have a new recipe to share today. It’s a very simple yet delicious and very filling recipe for Chicken and Bean Burritos. I think you will really like this one!

Here is how I make Chicken and Bean Burritos:

Step #1   Gather Ingredients:

  1. Flour tortillas, any size you want
  2. 1 can pork & beans in tomato sauce, undrained
  3. 1 can canned chicken, drained (or about 2 cups cooked chicken, cut up)
  4. 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  5. shredded cheddar cheese (about 1-2 cups)

(Note: I have also made this with just beans, when I didn’t have any meat on hand and they were just as good!)

Step #2   Preheat oven to 375°F. Heat chicken, beans and taco seasoning packet together in a pot on the stove until bubbling hot.

Step #3   Spread a large spoonful onto each tortilla, then fold up and place side by side in a sprayed baking pan. Be sure to place them with the open end down.

Step #4  Sprinkle with desired amount of shredded cheese.

Step #5  Bake for 20-30 minutes until cheese is melted and tortillas are turning a little brown on the edges.

Step #6   Serve with sour cream and salsa, if desired.
