Brattonsville Children’s Day on the Farm

This past Saturday we had a great time at Historic Brattonsville’s Children’s Day on the Farm. It had been awhile since we’ve been to this event and we love Brattonsville. They had so many fun activities and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect! I thought I would share a few pictures from our fun day:

This was Princess and Hulk’s first horse ride!

There were lots of baby farm animals!

Bright Star Touring Theatre was there and did two awesome performances!

Candle Dipping was a slow process, but pretty cool.

Princess & Hulk got to help make butter and they had fun playing with old fashioned toys!

In their one-room school house, we practiced writing with quills.

The boys got to practice military drills, Hulk had a blast with that!

It was such a wonderful family day together as well as getting to learn so much about historical times! We love going to Brattonsville and will definitely be going back for more of their events this year!
