Farewells and New Beginnings

Spread the love

We recently had to say “goodbye” to my sister and her family. They’ve lived about 5 minutes away from us for over a year now, but alas the time had come once again for them to move on. They have moved around a lot over the last decade and this time her husband took a job as a church pastor in Spencer, NC.

Farewells are always hard, but at least this time they didn’t move to Idaho! I will greatly miss having my sister and her kids living in the same town with us. It was nice for our kids to be able to play together and have park and museum dates. Hopefully with it only being about an hour drive, we will still get to see each other a good bit. I’m very proud of my baby sister in all that she has accomplished with her 6 children. She is a wonderful mother and works very hard to take care of her family.

Although I will miss her greatly, I know that God will be with her and take care of her. I speak the Numbers 6 blessing over her:

Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord Bless you and keep you, The Lord make His face shine up on you and be gracious to you, The Lord lift up His countenance on you and give you peace.”

Here is a picture of her family.

Family is everything..just as a reminder. Make sure you tell your family how much they mean to you as often as you can. Don’t ever take them for granted.

Blessings,

Amy
