I want to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing Moms out there!! I had a really nice Mother’s Day, my hubby is so sweet he made me breakfast in bed! I got to spend time with my mother and with my babies and that’s what the day is really all about.
My Mom is an incredible woman and I can’t imagine my life without her. My hubby’s mother died when he was only 10 years old and I just cannot even fathom how hard that was for a little kid and even now to go through life without his mom. Moms are just our safe place and the encouragers of our souls, our biggest fans and supporters and dear friends. God really knew what He was doing when He created the Mother/Child relationship.
I am also thankful for my four beautiful blessings that I get to call my children. Each one of my children are such a gift and an extension of myself. God has taken me on a journey with these little guys ever since my first one came along and I wouldn’t change a single minute of it. We have good days and bad days, but at the end of the day I am so thankful for the goodnight hugs and kisses. My little guys are what motivates me to be a better person and to keep going when I feel like giving up. God gave them to me and He gives me the strength to get through each day with them as I need it. He is so faithful.
So, GOD BLESS MOTHERS!!!!
Hi everyone! I have a new recipe for you today. I have made meatloaf so many times over the years, it is one of hubby’s favorites! And so in making it so many times, I have come up with my own recipe. We had it one night last week and so I thought I’d share it with you!
So here you go, how to make Amy’s Amazing Meatloaf!
My latest FIAR row with the boys was The Bee Tree. I love this book and we really enjoyed it!
We tried another new dessert recipe Sunday night! I found this recipe through Pinterest at Center Cut Cook. We were ready for something chocolate, since the last few weeks we’ve had strawberry desserts. It is called Chocolate Lasagna and it was SO yummy!
I recently finished rowing The Salamander Room with the boys for school. It was a really neat story and we had a lot of fun with it!
My oldest (Popstar) has been a member of a local homeschool choir called “Voices of Carolina” this past year. They had their spring concert last week and it was amazing! She has truly loved being in this choir and has learned so much! Two of her cousins were in the choir with her and that made it a lot of fun as well. It brings so much joy to have your child find something they enjoy doing. I was so proud of her for doing this, especially because she is so afraid to be up in front of people. She is really growing up! (Sniff, sniff)
